Ryan Gosling's Notebook co-star found dead in his Los Angeles home, reports state
JAMES Garner has died aged 86.
The Hollywood legend – who is best known for his role as the older Ryan Gosling in The Notebook – has passed away in his home, a report claims.

James was found dead in his Los Angeles home on Saturday evening, according to TMZ.

The site states an ambulance was dispatched to his address at 8pm local time but the Oscar-nominated actor was dead when they arrived.
James' cause of death is not yet known.
The 86-year-old was famed for his parts in TV series The Rockford Files and more than fifty films which included The Notebook and The Great Escape.
