THE winners of the inaugural All-Weather Championships have been announced in the wake of the new £1million Finals Day at Lingfield Park on Good Friday.
The season ran from October 26 to April 18.
Trainer of the Year: 1, Mark Johnston - 68 victories; 2, Mick Appleby (46); 3, David Evans (36).
Jockey of the Year: 1, Adam Kirby - 90 wins; 2, Luke Morris (75); 3, Joe Fanning third (64).
Owner of the Year: 1, Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum - 46 wins; Godolphin (16); Dr Marwan Koukash (15).
Horse of the Year (prize money): Grandeur (owned by Yvonne Jacques and trained by Jeremy Noseda) - £150,000.
Winning-most Horse (races won): 1, Alumina (owned by Shapoor Mistry and trained by Andrew Balding) - 6 wins (and two thirds); 2, Mr Burbidge - 6 wins.
Sire of the Year: Invincible Spirit - his offspring gained 41 victories.
All prize winners receive £10,000.
