ARSENAL appear to have been handed a major boost in their pursuit to land Antoine Griezmann in the summer.

Reports indicated earlier this year that Paris Saint-Germain had a verbal agreement in place to sign the 23-year-old.
However, Griezmann has refuted this and claims he hasn't been in contact with the French giants.
"Interest of PSG in me? I do not know anything nor have I had any contact," he told Canal Plus.

"I want to finish the season well at Real Sociedad and play in Europe next season.
"We always like when big clubs are interested in you, but we'll see what can happen. I do not have any preferences."
Griezmann has hit 16 goals in 32 La Liga appearances so far this season.
