Beyoncé is the singer standing on the scales – watch the video #CarryGobySeanKellz #FutureGroupNG via @myentertain9jar

The star makes herself sick, smashes up a roomful of awards and even rubs petroleum jelly on her teeth in new song Pretty Hurts

BEYONCÉ has released a new video from her recent album, which shows her weighing herself and making herself sick.
The controversial video for new song Pretty Hurts is directed by Partition director Melina Matsoukas, and takes a swipe at the world of beauty pageants.
In it Blue Ivy's mother is seen acting the role of a girl trying to win a beauty contest,  but tells a story of what happens behind the scenes.

An unhappy looking Beyoncé, 32, who herself entered pageants as a child, is seen getting a spray tan and is even embroiled in a fight with another girl over a hairdryer.

The video shows one girl attempting to eat cotton wool, while controversially Beyoncé is seen going into a lavatory to make herself sick.
She also has a man measure her tiny waist, then weigh her on the scales where her weight is clocked at 110 pounds.

There is even a scene where Beyoncé pretends to get a facelift and Botox.

Jay Z's wife says of the video: "It represents all of the things that women go through to keep up with the pressure that society puts on us."
But Miss Bey shows she is #flawless already as she strips off all her make up and weave towards the end of the seven minute song.
