Former BB contestant reveals the grim reality behind his victory, says show was 'like rehab'
BIG Brother winner Pete Bennett made headlines in 2006 when he won the reality TV show.The nation fell in love with the tourettes sufferer from Brighton, but he's now revealed something pretty disturbing.
In an interview with the Daily Star, the 32-year-old actor admitted he took acid before his first audition for the programme.
"Big Brother was like rehab. I auditioned for the show on acid and I don't remember much about being on the show."
Nikki Graheme's former flame confessed he started taking the hallucinogenic drug after his friend Jules died.
"One time I had a vision that I'd gone up a spiral staircase to heaven, surrounded by angels, and Jules was there to greet me.
"He told me I'd win Big Brother – and I did."
The troubled reality TV star got married and splashed out on a plush house in Brighton.
But unfortunately for Pete, he lost his fortune and his other half not long after – sob.
