SHE MIGHT have turned 60 in February but Christie Brinkley didn't look a day over 30 as she celebrated Earth Day with a walk on the beach yesterday.

The Sports Illustrated model - who is known for her radiant good looks and impressive physique - was accompanied by her daughter Alexa Ray Joel for the chilled out walk along the sand, and was keen to share her enjoyable day with her fans.
Taking to her Instagram page, the pretty blonde uploaded a number of pictures of the pair making the most of the day, including a fun snap of the mother daughter duo sporting wide grins and matching long cardigans.
Beaming from ear-to-ear, Christie looked younger than her years as she put a loving arm around Alexa, 28, looking casual and carefree.

She looked stunning in a pair of ripped jeans and a matching denim shirt, which she teamed with a long beige cardigan over the top.
Finishing off her stylish look, the star added a brown fedora hat and a pair of hi-top trainers, while Alexa matched her casual look in a pair of tracksuit bottoms and a long black and white cardigan.
"You n' me, you n' me baby," she wrote alongside the loving picture before uploading several more of their family day out.
Another shot shows the stunning blonde racing in the sand as she shows off her figure in a short turquoise dress.
"I just LOVE this planet of ours! Proud to call you home, Earth!" she wrote alongside the snap.

Meanwhile, Christie has revealed that she is desperate for her ex-husband Billy Joel to duet with their singing daughter Alexa again.
The father daughter duo last graced the stage together in 2008 when they performed the rock legend's track Baby Grand at a political fundraiser for U.S President Barack Obama in 2008.

Speaking to the Hampton Sheet magazine, she said: "She (Alexa Ray) has proven herself and she should say to herself, 'I'm the daughter of a legend... I'm so lucky and I want to sing with my dad while I can.'
"Look at Natalie Cole, she had to sing with a film (of her dad Nat King Cole)... I don't want that to happen, I want them to work together. I think it would be logical now for them to be able to do something together."
