Matt starred alongside David in the 50th anniversary special entitled 'The Day of the Doctor', which aired on November 23 and was very happy to see the Scottish star's face again.
"It was a real historic moment for me. I always look at David and go, 'Oh my god. It’s Doctor Who!'" Matt explained. "I’ll happily come back for another anniversary!"

His role was taken over by Peter Capaldi, who is currently filming the upcoming eighth series alongside Jenna Coleman.
Meanwhile, Matt is looking to move his career Stateside and has won himself a part in Ryan Gosling's directorial debut 'Lost River'.
The movie - which is expected to be released some time this year - tells the story of a single mother who enters a dark lifestyle, while her son uncovers a road leading to an underwater utopia.
The film also stars Eva Mendes, Christina Hendricks and Saoirse Ronan.
