ACTRESS Tamzin Outhwaite was granted a quickie divorce in under two minutes today after her husband Tom Ellis admitted adultery.
The 43-year-old actress, who is currently starring in New Tricks, was granted a decree nisi by District Judge Liza Gordon-Saker on the grounds that the marriage had irretrievably broken down.
Welsh actor Ellis, also 43, who appears in Miranda and played Dr Oliver Cousins in EastEnders, had confessed to a one night stand while filming Gothica in the US early last year.
The couple attempted to patch up their marriage but Tamzin, who played Melanie Owen in EastEnders from 1998 to 2002, eventually filed for divorce and he left their North London home.
The couple have two daughters Florence, five, and Marnie Mae, 20 months.
Ellis also has a daughter Nora from a previous relationship.
The divorce was granted in just 110 seconds.
Tamzin and Tom married in 2006 a year after meeting through a mutual friend in 2005.
In December 2008 they won ITV's charity game show Mr and Mrs Xmas Special.
He admitted adultery and did not defend the divorce.
Neither were present for the brief hearing.
