JOSE MOURINHO has rated John Terry as having an outside chance to start for Chelsea against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.
The Blues skipper limped off with a foot injury during his side's 0-0 draw against Atletico in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final tie last week.
Terry it seems had been ruled out of the remainder of the Blues' league campaign and Thomas Kalas impressed on his debut in the 2-0 win over Liverpool yesterday.
The Blues are already bereft of Petr Cech, but Mourinho believes Terry could be ready to face the La Liga leaders.
After the match against Atletico, I said `no chance'. In this moment, I say `maybe'
"He has a chance," Mourinho said in his post-match press conference.
"Let's see tomorrow, after tomorrow. After the match against Atletico, I said `no chance'. In this moment, I say `maybe'."
Chelsea are just two points behind Liverpool in the title courtesy of yesterday's win.
