LEICESTER boss Nigel Pearson admits there will be no overhaul to his side ahead of next season's Premier League campaign.
We operate with a small squad as it is. There aren't going to be too many changes in that sense
And Pearson claims preparations are being made for the summer regarding new recruits, with top-flight experience in mind.
But the 50-year-old tactician admits this season's key performers will all have a chance to stake their claim in the first-team.
Pearson said: "It's got to be a fluid situation.
"We operate with a small squad as it is. There aren't going to be too many changes in that sense. We are probably going to be adding to it more than anything else.
"We have got to recruit in a way that we get players who are going to complement what we have in terms of character and experience, but they have got to be capable of playing at the top end. That's going to be key.
"There are specific areas we are looking at but I'm not going to share it.
"I know what it's like, if we say we are looking in certain areas, there will be a landslide of speculation about players who are out of contract with some agents who want to get some money in their pockets."
