Actor RICHARD E. GRANT has expressed his relief after his daughter came through surgery on Monday (28Apr14).

The Jack & Sarah star faced an anxious wait as his daughter Olivia, who is in her mid-20s, underwent an inner ear operation, and he subsequently told fans on Twitter.com that she was in recovery.

He writes, "My daughter has just come round from 3 hours of inner ear surgery & the wait has felt Biblically long.The relief to have her back is huge... Think every parent would willingly endure anything to spare a child any pain."
Grant's daughter went through previous ear surgery last year (13).
