But now, Calvin Harris' girlfriend has opened up about THAT messy time in her life.
In an interview with Power 105.1's radio show The Breakfast Club, the 23-year-old said: "It was a phase and a moment in my life and now, you know, onward and upwards."
Rihanna's pal couldn't be more laid back about the now infamous tweets which, unfortunately for Rob, went viral before he could delete them.
"I don't tend to use social media, so when that whole situation happened, silence for me is the biggest form of flattery, and I love to just keep it moving, unless I need to say something.
