WILLIE MULLINS will be double-handed in the Grade Two Prix Leon Rambaud at Auteuil on Saturday, having declared both Un De Sceaux and Blood Cotil.
If so, he will again tackle the French Champion Hurdle winner Gemix.
Barry Geraghty stole a long lead on Un De Sceaux when they met last time out, Gemix failing by a short neck to catch him.
Blood Cotil will be returning to the scene of his last win, having caused a surprise when beating his stablemate Diakali a length at Auteuil in May.
He has since fallen at Cork on his chasing debut and been unlucky in the Boylesports.com Hurdle.
Abbyssial is likely to represent Mullins in the Grade Two Prix Amadou. The four-year-old was a winner three times in Ireland before giving Ruby Walsh a broken arm when falling in the Triumph.
Venetia Williams has booked French champion jockey David Cottin for Upepito at Auteuil (3.10pm Wednesday).
Ferdy Murphy’s only winner since moving to France, Kauto d’Aloes, runs in the same chase worth 55,000 euros.
