Why road rage drivers are really scaredy cats #CarryGobySeanKellz #FutureGroupNG via @i_amreginaldjr

MOTORISTS prone to road rage are often the most scared of driving, a study has found.

The country’s least willing drivers are also the most likely to lose their temper and flash their lights at others, findings from a five-year study revealed.
But a dislike of driving doesn’t keep them off the roads.
Researchers found drivers who clock up the most miles are split between those who love motoring and those who feel their job makes them a slave to their cars.
The study is based on analysis of the motoring habits of AA members by market researcher Populus.
A Portrait Of Motoring Britain, identifies six different types of driver.
But all of them were united by two things – outrage at the cost of motoring and strong opposition to any plans for pay-per-mile road charging.
The first group, called Driving To Live, feel they have become slaves to their cars.
Motorheads are those who love getting behind the wheel, unlike More Than Motoring who resent having to use a car.
Those under pressure have lower tolerance of others and kick back against restrictions that make their motoring harder

Rogue Drivers regularly break the rules of the road.
Way Of Life motorists are those who use their car just to get around while Reluctant Drivers are the most timid and most prone to road rage.
The report said: “Some of the UK’s most reluctant drivers prefer to stay off the road in bad weather, dislike motorways, loathe night driving and like speed cameras.
“However, if you come across them, they are amongst the most likely to lose their temper with you and flash their lights.”
AA president Edmund King said: “Those under pressure have lower tolerance of others and kick back against restrictions that make their motoring harder.
“Across the spectrum of drivers, there are two concerns that unite them: fear of the rising cost of motoring and the threat of road charging.
“At least three in every 10 struggle to continue driving because of the cost of motoring – which probably explains why at least 64 per cent in all groups oppose pay-as-you-go roads.”
