"Glawogger was one of the most prolific feature film and documentary film directors (Austria has) ever produced... (his) unexpected and tragic early death leaves an eternal hole in our film industry!"
Glawogger was famous for his hard-hitting documentaries, focusing mainly on the world's poor and abused. His works include Megacities, Workingman's Death and Whores' Glory, which won the Special Jury Prize at the 2011 Venice Film Festival in Italy.
