Kathleen Turner made suicide vow over arthritis pain #CarryGobySeanKellz #FutureGroupNG via @i_amreginaldjr

Actress KATHLEEN TURNER threatened to commit suicide if she suffered another nasty flare-up in her ongoing battle with rheumatoid arthritis.

The Romancing the Stone star was diagnosed with the painful autoimmune condition in the early 1990s, which causes painful, swollen joints and chronic fatigue, and she has undergone numerous operations in a bid to keep herself mobile.

Turner admits she became so scared of the condition progressing, she vowed to take her own life if she had another nasty flare-up of symptoms, but the actress did not go through with it when the rheumatoid arthritis returned last year (13).
She tells The Times newspaper, "(When it came back last year) I couldn't walk, I couldn't lift my arm: it was a terrible flare. It was kind of funny because I'd said, 'God, if I ever have to go through this again I will just kill myself.' And then, I was like who was I kidding? No way am I giving this (life) up."
