The 27-year-old Frenchman has been struggling to shake of a thigh injury but his future has been the subject of frenzied speculation.
Express Sport exclusively revealed yesterday that the maverick Frenchman was ordered to stay away from the training ground following a dressing-room row with Alan Pardew.

Ben Arfa has previously clashed with players and coaches during the early part of his career and he has been linked with a move to Roma this summer.
He has notched up 27 Premier League appearances for the Magpies this term, but has only three goals to his name.
