KINGMAN will be put through his paces this weekend ahead of the Qipco 2000 Guineas at Newmarket next Saturday.
Kingman is the ante-post favourite[GETTY]Trainer John Gosden thinks the ante-post favourite for the first colts' Classic is in tip-top form.
While the Newmarket handler would appreciate some rain for the Khalid Abdullah-owned colt, he hopes it will not be too testing.
Speaking from a rain-soaked Sandown, Gosden said: "He worked nicely earlier in the week and we'll look to work him at some stage over the weekend.
"One would be hopeful of some rain but we wouldn't want it to go to this."
