Sead Kolasinac could be heading to Manchester after receiving an offer from the club[GETTY]The 20-year-old left-back is one of the hottest properties in the Bundesliga, and claims that the Red Devils have made him a concrete offer as they look to reshape their ageing squad.
United were believed to be heading the race for Southampton star Luke Shaw, but with fierce competition from Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham, as well as an astronomical asking-price, they've turned their attentions to £8million-rated Kolasinac.
The Bosnia-Herzegovina international, who was born in Germany, looks set to replace Patrice Evra and challenge Alexander Buttner for a place in the starting line-up in the next campaign as United look to get back into the Champions League and challenge for the title.
Kolasinac, who is also a very capable midfielder, told Bosnian newspaper Dnevni Avaz that a deal is on the table from the fallen English giants, but that ultimately it will be Schalke who make the final call on his future.

He said: "Yes, I have an offer from Manchester United.
"But I will not hurry the decision. I have to see what Schalke think about it."
United have been eyeing many players from the Bundesliga as they plot their Premier League revival, with stars including Mats Hummels and Toni Kroos on chief executive Ed Woodward's wishlist.
And with former Bayern Munich boss Louis van Gaal set to be appointed as David Moyes' permanent successor, Kolasinac could be the first of many signings from the German league this summer.
