No Terry, no Cech, no excuses! Chelsea's Gary Cahill issues Champions League battle cry #CarryGobySeanKellz #FutureGroupNG via @i_amreginaldjr

CHELSEA defender Gary Cahill says the Blues can muster 'one huge game' to advance to the Champions League final despite missing several key players through injury and suspension.

Cahill was a standout performer as Chelsea drew 0-0 against Atletico Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final on Tuesday night.
But the stalemate came at a cost to Chelsea with Petr Cech being ruled out for the rest of the season with a dislocated shoulder and John Terry only likely to return from an ankle injury for the final of the competition.
Jose Mourinho will also be without Frank Lampard and John Obi Mikel in the second leg next Wednesday after both players picked up yellow cards against the Spanish side that saw them suspended for the return leg.
But Cahill believes Chelsea encountered similar adversity on the way to winning the competition in 2012, and says the side can draw on that experience to repeat that feat this year.
He said: "It is a huge blow to lose so many players.

We look back at how we coped with a similar situation on the way to winning it in 2012 and it gives us confidence.

"We look back at how we coped with a similar situation on the way to winning it in 2012 and it gives us confidence.
"It's never ideal to lose players but we have the squad to cope with it.
"I'm sure the manager would prefer to have every single player fit and healthy for selection but that's not going to be the case.
"We seem to be able to grind out results when we need to in this competition.
"We're really, really close to the final now, we have one more game at home and have to give it every single thing we've got.
"Then we have a good few weeks to get some of the players back but we can't think too far ahead.
"We have one huge game to go, we have to focus and give everything next week."
