STERLING SILVER! Brendan Rodgers reveals inspiration for Reds’ title charge #CarryGobySeanKellz #FutureGroupNG via @i_amreginaldjr

LIVERPOOL manager Brendan Rodgers pinned the words of Hillsborough campaigner Margaret Aspinall to the dressing room wall to inspire his team to a win that puts them on the brink of the title.

Thanks to two goals from Raheem Sterling and a 30th of the season from Luis Suarez, Liverpool moved five points clear at the top of the Premier League despite a brief fight back from relegation-threatened Norwich at Carrow Road.
Rodgers' team now need just seven points from their remaining three games to clinch Liverpool's first title in 24 years - and could do it even sooner if their rivals continue to drop points.
But Rodgers revealed afterwards that it was the words of Hillsborough Family Support Group chair Aspinall, who lost her son James in the 1989 tragedy and spoke in last Tuesday's memorial service at Anfield, that inspired his team.
Aspinall said at the service: "Stress is difficult, but stress is also good. It gives you a determination to fight."
Rodgers had the words printed out in three different languages for his players.

The Liverpool manager said: "We had the memorial service last week, which was really touching. We put some words from Margaret on the wall, the words she used about stress and how it gives you determination to fight.
"This is a club that is at one with those who fought to achieve their ultimate goal."
He added: "This was a brilliant win for us. It was always going to be a difficult but we showed everything. Now we can't finish lower than third, which guarantees Champions League football next season.

"We've won 11 games on the spin and that's an incredible achievement. We've score 96 goals and we want to make it 100. The players have given me everything and I can't ask any more than that.
"Raheem is arguably the best young player in European football right now. He's only 19 and if he doesn't win Young Player of the Year I'll be shocked.
"It doesn't matter what other teams do. Nobody has helped us to win 11 on the spin or score 96 goals. We focus on ourselves."
Norwich caretaker manager Neil Adams, whose team fought back with goals from Gary Hooper and Robert Snodgrass, said: "I had to say a few things at half-time but we responded well. We need another win but we showed that we have the spirit to do it."
