LIVERPOOL will discuss the future of Luis Suarez today with the striker facing a maximum TWO YEAR ban for biting Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini.
The Uruguayans progressed to the knock-out stages in Brazil thanks to Diego Godin's header, but Suarez could now be thrown out of the competition.
And back on Merseyside, the Reds are dealing with the fallout of the third such incident of the 27-year-old's career.
Suarez's future was the subject of intense speculation even before his latest controversy, with the Spanish press ramping up talk of a move to La Liga.
However, the former Ajax striker may find Real Madrid and Barcelona less willing to shell out an estimated £80million on his services after appearing to bite an opponent for the third time in his career.
Suarez could be banned for a maximum of 24 matches or two years by FIFA, but the Anfield club will wait until any judgement is made before making a definitive decisions.
