Singer changed lyrics of her unreleased track Resentment, which is about a woman whose partner has been unfaithful, to reflect her marriage

 

BEYONCÉ has spent the last few weeks trying to convince the world that her relationship with Jay-Z is fine.

The singer and her husband, who are usually a super private couple, have been photographed together more, sharing intimate details of their wedding day and even snogged on stage.

Now though, fans are not sure what to believe after a performance during their On The Run tour.

The star took to the stage to sing a heartfelt rendition of her unreleased track Resentment, which is about a woman who has been cheated on and includes lines like "she ain't even half of me" and "I can't stop crying".

People in the crowd were shocked when she decided to change the lyrics midway through the song.

Instead of singing "I've been riding with you for six years", she sang "I've been riding with you for 12 years".

Coincidentally, 12 years is the exact length of time she has been with her husband.

During the performance, she's wearing a white veil and bridal dress, which is another gesture that has sent rumour mills into overdrive.

The state of Beyoncé and Jay-Z's marriage was thrown into the spotlight in May when her sister attacked him in a lift and she did nothing to stop her.

Some reports suggested the incident was provoked by cheating rumours, however, all parties involved neither confirmed or denied the allegations and instead merely insisted that they were all putting it behind them.
