ANDY Murray may have crashed out of Wimbledon but fans at the competition are at least enjoying today's beautiful weather as Britain basks in the hottest day of the year so far.
MeteoGroup forecaster Sean Penston said: "Fair weather cloud will clear in the late morning to leave plenty of sunshine with a pleasant southwesterly breeze."
People across the capital could be spotted spending their lunch breaks catching a few rays in the city's parks and squares.

The hottest temperature before today was recorded on June 13 in Southampton, when the mercury rose to 26.8C.
Elsewhere there will be patchy rain in northern England, parts of Wales and Northern Ireland for a time, with a few showers in western Scotland.
It could be a rough time for hay fever sufferers, as the Met Office has warned the pollen count will be "high to very high" over the next few days.
Commuters will be pleased to hear that no rail speed restrictions have yet been introduced, although some did have to sweat it out earlier today after several broken down trains caused delays.
But enjoy the weather while it lasts, as this weekend could see showers rolling in just in time for the Wimbledon finals.
Although fans on Henman Hill are enjoying the sun today, spectators at the weekend could see the Centre Court roof close for the women's final on Saturday and the men's on Sunday.
Mr Penston said: "I wouldn't rule out an isolated shower on Saturday, and there is a risk of a few sharp showers on Sunday."
Temperatures could drop to around 20C as the weekend arrives and Monday promises mixed weather.
