The Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Wednesday named the officials to handle the African Women Championship (AWC) second round qualifying matches between Nigeria and Rwanda.
According to the list made available by the Nigeria Football Association (NFA) in Abuja, CAF named Alla Abdelsamad from Sudan as the centre referee for the first leg match in Rwanda.
Nigeria will visit Rwanda for the first leg of the qualifiers between May 23 and May 25.
The return leg match will, however, be played between June 6 and June 8.
Ethiopia’s, Trhas Gebreyohanis, will be the first assistant referee, while Sudan’s Nasrin Mudawi and Batol Ibrahim will be the second assistant and reserve referees, respectively. Genevieve Kanjiga from DR Congo will be the match commissioner for the game.
In the return leg in Nigeria, Sara Ramadan from Egypt will be at the centre, while Mona Atallah and Hanady Ibrahim also from Egypt will be assistant referees one and two, respectively.
Kankou Coulibaly from Mali will be the reserve referee, while Marguerite Rouamba from Burkina Faso will be the match commissioner.
Nigeria qualified automatically for the second round when Sierra Leone withdrew from the qualifiers.
Rwanda on their part qualified from the first round on away goal rule after a 2-2 tie on aggregate against Kenya having beaten the Kenyans 1-0 in the first leg.
Seven teams will emerge from the qualifiers to join hosts, Namibia in the 2014 AWC scheduled to hold from Oct. 11 to Oct. 25.
