MP Charlotte Leslie made quite a splash last week when a striking snap emerged of her in a red swimsuit from her days as a lifeguard.

The 35-year-old didn’t look a day older than she did at 20 as a Pamela Anderson lookalike patrolling the Cornish coast with the Bude Surf Life Saving Club.
Ms Leslie, Tory MP for Bristol North West, said the photo was a reminder of her happy university summers: “They taught me a huge deal. Skills I use in the world of politics.”
She was one of the youngest MPs at 31 and, before that, had Olympic swimming hopes – as well as being a dashing lifeguard.
