Real Madrid remain keen to hold onto the Argentine - who was man of the match in the Champions League final on Saturday.
Indeed, Carlo Ancelotti has been joined by Cristiano Ronaldo in stating their wish that Di Maria remains at the Bernabeu next season.
But reports in Argentina claim that Di Maria is set to disappoint Real and could even agree a deal to leave within the next few weeks.
According to UOL Sport, a source close the player said: "It is true that he is leaving because he wants to go.
"It is very likely that he will leave before the end of the World Cup in Brazil."
Arsenal, PSG and Monaco have all made concrete offers for Angel.
The question remains however, exactly where Di Maria will end up.
Monaco have long been linked as a possible destination and it seems that the Principality club have been joined by Arsenal and PSG in making an early play for the 26-year-old.
However, alternative reports coming out of Argentina suggest that Manchester United, Manchester City and Juventus remain in contention to land the player.
The source added: "Arsenal, PSG and Monaco have all made concrete offers for Angel.
"But there is still interest from Manchester City, Manchester United and Juventus."
