KATIE Piper has opened up about how her first three months as a new mummy have been.
Revealing all in her first column for Kiddicare, she told fans about the highs and lows of becoming a parent.
"There have been times when I couldn’t settle her at night or when she continued to cry after being changed and fed and I found myself saying “Am I no good at this? What have I done wrong?” Looking back now, the hormones and sleep deprivation made me be far too harsh on myself," she wrote.
And the 30-year-old blonde, who is recovering from eye surgery, added that she's had difficulties just like any other mum out there.
"I was really determined to breast feed for as long as I could."
"Belle struggled to put weight on initially because I couldn’t produce enough milk. I was pumping, expressing, eating nutritious food, letting her suckle all day but in the end I was putting so much pressure on myself I had even less milk as a result!" Katie explained.
The mum-of-one gave birth to her healthy baby girl in March and it seems the little tot has been a great distraction following the star's recent hospital visit.
Taking to Twitter, Katie shared a heartwarming shot of herself cuddling her daughter and sporting an eye patch at the same time.
"I had a big operation @centreforsight today. No pain relief. Needed my little lady, she takes all the pain away just by looking at me," she wrote alongside the snap.
Katie then followed this up with another message for her fans and said: "Thanks for all the get well soon tweets. You lot are a lovely bunch :) x."
Got to love this lady.
