KHALI Best has been suspended from EastEnders for bad behaviour.
BBC bosses will not let the 26-year-old film for three months as a punishment for his recent antics.
A show insider told the Daily Star: "His behaviour lately has not been to a standard the BBC expects of its EastEnders cast.
"We won't go into details but his conduct outside of work has not been good at all and is a threat to the show."
The shock news comes after Watford's favourite mechanic, Dextor Hartmon, won Best Newcomer at the National Television Awards in January this year.
Best's lucky streak went out with a bang when he crashed his £18,000 Audi A3 into a van earlier this month.
And to make matters worse, show boss Dominic Treadwell-Collins has now landed him with a hefty suspension from filming.
The insider continued: "Khali has been fined in the past for not turning up to work on time and his behaviour has worsened recently, so much so that Dominic thought enough was enough.
"He knew he had to be tough on Khali to send out a clear message to both him and the rest of the cast that they have a duty as an EastEnders employee to behave in a certain way.
"Dominic felt a three-month suspension was the right punishment and hopefully Khali will come back to work with a better attitude.
"If he doesn't then he may well find that his future on the show is short."
Co-star Ricky Norwood – best known for his EastEnders name Arthur 'Fatboy' Chubb – was also suspended for two months from the show after a video of him smoking cannabis and performing a sex act was leaked online.
A BBC spokesperson confirmed to OK! Online: "Khali Best has been suspended from EastEnders for three months. We will not comment any further on this matter."
Yikes, these boys need to learn to stay out of, ahem, drama.
