The Premier League produced another bundle load of goals and there were some surprise results.
Express Sport mulls over the key talking points and names the champs and chumps.
Champs
Best goal
Sterling hit a stunning double in the win over Norwich but his first goal was something to save. Picking the ball up 25 yards from goal, Sterling shifted it to the right before hitting a fizzing shot that flew past John Ruddy into the top corner of the net. A majestic strike that set the game alight!
Best individual performance
Step forward Sterling! The 19-year-old proved why he is on the shortlist for the PFA Young Player of the Year award with a sublime performance. Two well-taken goals as well as an assist for Luis Suarez, Sterling has been able to ally his electric pace and skill with an ability to finish. A truly eye-catching performance!
Best save
Lloris has at times been flappable and a liability for Tottenham, but he produced when called upon. John Arne Riise whipped in a wicked cross and Hugo Rodallega thought he had scored when he sent a powerful header goal-wards, but Lloris flung out a hand to tip the ball over bar. Rodallega then ran over to Lloris to congratulate him which was a nice touch too.
Chumps
Daftest decision
Jose Mourinho isn't one for fading into the background. His penchant for controversy is unrivalled. After seeing his side's disappointing defeat against Sunderland, the Portuguese tactician 'congratulated' the referee in a news conference laden with sarcasm. It remains to be seen whether the FA will impose another fine.
Worst tackle
Remember Ramires' X-rated tackle on Aston Villa's Karim El-Ahmadi. Well his elbow on Sebastian Larsson shouldn't have gone unnoticed by the referee. The Brazilian in an off-the-ball incident elbowed the Sunderland midfielder flush in the face and should the FA decide to take retrospective action, he could get a three-match ban.
