NEW pictures have emerged of North Korea leader Kim Jong-un inspecting his country's infrastructure - but there is one thing the secretive dictator is Brie-ly not happy about.
The communist state's Supreme Leader is sending a team of experts to France for a crash-course in cheese-making, it has been revealed.
Although North Korea is not best known for its culinary prowess, Jong-un is determined to change that with his "cheese diplomacy" mission.
Specialists will travel to France to learn skills they will then implement in Pyongyang – which has so far been unable to replicate the "requisite quality" of Western cheese.
Jong-un reportedly gained a taste for Emmental when he studied at boarding school in Switzerland
Jong-un reportedly gained a taste for Emmental when he studied at boarding school in Switzerland, said website La Lettre A.
But the 31-year-old appears to have been unable to satisfy his taste back in his home nation.
By contrast, neighbouring South Korea is a huge importer of cheese, thanks to a booming pizza industry.
Previous photos of Jong-un have shown the repressive leader being swamped by adoring female fans.
Speculation from North Korea has recently suggested Jong-Un's aunt Kim Kyong-hui is the latest member of ruler's family to have been purged.
