Never Been Kissed star reveals family life has inspired her to get skilful in the kitchen
DREW Barrymore is quite the changed character these days. And it seems she has the birth of her two daughters, Olive and Frankie, to thank for her new outlook on life.
In an interview with Red magazine, the Never Been Kissed actress revealed motherhood has been her best role in life yet.
The 39-year-old said: "I am loving being a mum. Olive is a year and a half now so [the girls] will be close together in age. I think, just get it done – it will be awesome!"
And the gushing about her little girls didn't end there as she admitted family time is the key to her happiness.
Drew added: "We spend every weekend together. We don’t have a babysitter. It’s just us. I can’t wait to see how that’s going to work out with the second one!"
Keen to become the ultimate yummy mummy too, the E.T. star has confessed to taking cookery classes to avoid having take-out on speed dial anymore.
"Over the summer I’m going to cooking school. I really love cooking, it makes me so happy. But I’m terrible at it. None of it is effortless or sexy or even tastes that good for that matter, but I’m really working on it. I used to be Mrs Takeout… I’ve just never learned to cook in my life," Drew admitted.
Cameron Diaz's pal and her husband Will Kopelman welcomed their second daughter at the end of April.
They released the statement: "Happy to announce that today we are the proud parents of our second daughter, Frankie Barrymore Kopelman."
