Mourinho attacked the "stupid" football philosophers who have criticised his Chelsea team's way of playing in recent weeks.
But Robben was not put off twisting the knife into his former manager, ahead of the Blues' Champions League semi-final second leg with Atletico.
"I couldn't watch it because I don't think that has anything to do with football," Robben said of the goalless draw at the Vicente Calderon last week.
"But that's okay. You know the two managers [Mourinho and Diego Simeone], I respect them and everybody does it in their own way.
"Real Madrid is going to be in the final and I wish them all the best."
Robben's comments came after his Bayern Munich side were swept aside by Real in the other Champions League semi, a crushing 4-0 home defeat.
Two goals apiece from Sergio Ramos and Cristiano Ronaldo sealed
