The 81-year-old, often described as the godfather of British pop art, has created a montage of all the personalities who have appeared at the famous venue, which opened in 1871.
Sir Peter told Day & Night how the iconic building still holds a special place in his heart. “I could talk a lot about the Royal Albert Hall.
I could talk a lot about the Royal Albert Hall. When I first came here it was to a classical concert with my sister and we sat up in the gods
Sir Peter Blake
"When I first came here it was to a classical concert with my sister and we sat up in the gods.
"And while I was at the Royal College of Art just down the road I came at least once a month to the professional wrestling.”
His latest creation is not dissimilar to what is arguably his most famous work : the album cover of The Beatles’ Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.
