IT WAS rockers reunited at the Royal Albert Hall in London yesterday as Roger Daltrey, Brian May and Bill Wyman joined Sir Peter Blake for the unveiling of his new artwork.
Sir Peter told Day & Night how the iconic building still holds a special place in his heart. “I could talk a lot about the Royal Albert Hall.
I could talk a lot about the Royal Albert Hall. When I first came here it was to a classical concert with my sister and we sat up in the gods
"And while I was at the Royal College of Art just down the road I came at least once a month to the professional wrestling.”
His latest creation is not dissimilar to what is arguably his most famous work : the album cover of The Beatles’ Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.
