A teaser trailer for the new episode, which is entitled 'Breaker of Chains', begins with Cersai Lannister (Lena Heady) and her young son mourning Joffrey as his body lay in front of them.
However, it's not long before Tywin Lannister (Charles Dance) joins them and begins his quest of training the new King and criticising Joffrey as he does so.
The scene soon takes a nasty turn as Jaime begins kissing his sister whilst shouting at her: "You're a hateful woman. Why have the gods made me love a hateful woman."
But as Cersai tries to resist his advances by telling him: "Stop it. It's not right," Jaime forces himself upon his sister, in what is set to be one of the most uncomfortable scenes of the show to date.
"Kind of really annoyed at *that scene* in the latest episode of game of thrones because in the books it's not a rape scene," one viewer wrote, while another added: "Disgusted by @GameofThrones turning Jaime into a rapist. The people in charge of that decision should be fired immediately."
The latest episode of 'Game of Thrones' will air on Sky Atlantic tonight at 9pm.
