SHE MIGHT be fast approaching her eighties, but Sophia Loren has proved that she's still got exactly what it takes when it comes to brighten up a room.

The actress, who is known for her glamour and style, looked every inch the glamour puss as she arrived at a press conference for her new film Human Voice yesterday afternoon, dressed head to toe in red.
Opting for a flattering trouser suit, the 79-year-old looked timeless and elegant as she larked around with members of the press before posing for a few snaps inside the venue, in Naples.

She accessorised her look with a stylish leopard print scarf and an array of gold jewellery, including glittering rings and a choker-style necklace.
She wore her brunette locks in her signature coiffed style while opting for heavy eyeliner and a nude lip.
Sophia was with her son, Italian director Edoardo Ponti, at the Hotel Vesuvio to attend the press conference for the movie Voce Umana (Human Voice), which they worked on together.

The film charts the breakdown of a woman who is left by her lover and will be her first piece of work since 2009's Nine.
The story is based on Jean Cocteau's iconic one-woman play of the same name, and was recentlyuy presented at the Cannes Film Festival as part of the Cannes Classics section.
