BORUSSIA DORTMUND are set to launch a £20million bid for Chelsea hitman Romelu Lukaku.

The Belgian international, who has spent the last two season out on loan at West Brom and Everton respectively, is unsure of his future at Stamford Bridge, and Blues boss Jose Mourinho could be tempted to cash in as he prepares moves for Atletico Madrid's Diego Costa and Bayern Munich star Mario Mandzukic.
Lukaku, who is yet to really make his mark in west London, has endured a tempestuous relationship with the Special One this season, with barbs traded back and forth over the reason for his loan move to Goodison Park.
Mourinho has openly criticised the 21-year-old for the amount of comments he has made, and, according to reports, could sanction a move to Germany if Dortmund make a lucrative offer.
The Portuguese manager is no stranger to parting with talented youngsters after allowing Mario Balotelli to leave the San Siro for Manchester City during his time with Inter Milan, and would rather let Lukaku go if he feels the Belgian would be a disruptive influence at Cobham.

Lukaku's physicality, plus his eye for goal, makes him a prime candidate to replace Robert Lewandowski
The Bundesliga giants are in the market for new forwards after losing star striker Robert Lewandowski on a free transfer to fierce rivals Bayern Munich, and Lukaku's physicality, plus his eye for goal, makes him a prime candidate to replace the Pole.
Jurgen Klopp has already completed a move for Hertha Berlin's powerful target-man Adrian Ramos, and wants a younger alternative in attack after missing out on Roma star Mattia Destro.
Chelsea are hoping to strengthen a number of positions this summer, including central midfield, and would be open to the possibility of a swap deal involving German anchorman Sven Bender or robust playmaker Ilkay Gundogan as they search for Frank Lampard's long-term successor.
The Blues have also been linked with Dortmund's pacy winger Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, but Dortmund have already made it clear that they don't intend to sell the former St Etienne star.
