KRIS Jenner has taken to Twitter to pay tribute to author and poet Maya Angelou, who has died at the age of 86.
Maya – best known for her autobiography I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings – was found dead at her home in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, on Wednesday morning.

Kim Kardashian's mum was one of many celebrities who took to Twitter to share their condolences.
"The world has lost a truly remarkable activist, educator and an inspiration to all. Rest In Peace #MayaAngelou," she said.
Harry Potter author J.K Rowling used one of the writer's quotes in her tribute.
"'If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know how amazing you can be.' Maya Angelou - who was utterly amazing," she tweeted.
Singer Mary J. Blige also shared her thoughts with a quote: "'There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.' - Maya Angelou."

American filmmaker and actress Lena Dunham – who wrote and starred in the HBO series Girls – thanked Angelou for the wisdom that she brought to many generations.
She tweeted: "Thank you, Maya, for your power, your politics, your poetry. We need you more than ever. Rest in peace."
Angelou was struggling with health problems and had recently cancelled an appearance honouring her with a Beacon of Life Award.
Her son Guy B Johnson confirmed the news of her death in a statement and said that she "passed quietly in her home" sometime before 8am on Wednesday.
Johnson hailed her as a "teacher, activist, artist, a human being and a warrior for equality, tolerance and peace."
