CONFIRMED: Mauricio Pochettino named as Tottenham boss on five-year deal #BringBackOurGirls #Entertain9jar via @myentertain9jar

TOTTENHAM have appointed former Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino as their new head coach on a five-year contract, the club have announced.

The 42-year-old replaces Tim Sherwood, who was fired on May 13 after just five months in the job following Spurs' sixth-place finish in the Premier League.
Pochettino developed a strong reputation for playing a positive, attacking brand of football in his 18 months at Southampton, which he joined from Spanish side Espanyol.
Saints finished eighth in the standings last season, with its highest top-flight points haul of 56.
And the Argentine tactician, who is the eighth permanent manager under chairman Daniel Levy's 13-year reign, is looking forward to getting the most out of the north London side.
