LUIS SUAREZ has poured cold water on speculation suggesting he could quit Liverpool this summer.

Suarez insists "nothing is going to happen" to him in regards to his future at Anfield.

The PFA player of the year has been linked with a move away from Liverpool despite spearheading the Reds' title charge this season.

And having signed a new big-money deal in December, Suarez insists he will stay on Merseyside for the foreseeable future.

"I'm very happy here and my family is happy here," Suarez told Uruguayan TV station Canal 10.

"Don't worry nothing is going to happen to me. If we could win the Premier League and bring the trophy home it would be incredible, a dream come true."
