The two-week old kittens were found dumped in a cardboard box and are now needing loving homes [SWNS]
A dog found the two-week-old kittens at the side of a path along with their mother.
They are being cared for at St Francis Animal Rescue centre in South Shields, Tyneside.

Its founder Ann Kirton said: “The mother was starving. But she is warm, cosy and full now.”
Ms Kirton said more cats are being abandoned than ever, despite the centre offering to neuter pets for free.
