Take revenge! Marouane Fellaini can prove Man Utd doubters wrong with Belgium - Wilmots #CarryGobySeanKellz #FutureGroupNG via @myentertain9jar

MANCHESTER UNITED'S Marouane Fellaini looks set to join Chelsea pair Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois and Manchester City's Vincent Kompany in Belgium's World Cup squad this summer despite an underwhelming season at club level.

Belgium boss Marc Wilmots claims that while Fellaini is not one of his five certainties to be on the plane to Brazil, he did expect the 26-year-old to be involved and to 'take revenge' for the way his season has gone at United.
He said: "I have no doubts about Marouane.
"I don't understand why Manchester United bought him to play him in a system of two number 6s. Marouane is a box-to-box player.
"The World Cup is a good chance for him to take revenge."
Wilmots said that Hazard, Courtois and Kompany were joined by Axel Witsel of Zenit St Petersburg and Kevin De Bruyne as the only players guaranteed a start if fit.
Belgium are expected to name a preliminary squad of 26 to 27 players on May 13 and whittle that down to a final 23 on June 2.

And Wilmots also confirmed that Manchester United's Adnan Januzaj would be in contention after declaring his international allegiance to Belgium earlier this month.
He said: "Adnan has played 27 games for Manchester United.
"He has shown me. Lot he can play on the wing, he can play on the 9. That's interesting, especially since Christian Benteke is no longer available.
"I feel it is normal, given his performance last year, for me to want to see his behaviour in training.
"When I make a selection of 26, 27 players I will say: 'This is the moment of truth: Come on, kid, let me see what you can do on the pitch.'"
