A grieving Sir Bob Geldof took to the stage last night for his first performance since daughter Peaches' tragic death.
The Live Aid founder threw himself into the Volksfest festival gig which he played with his band the – Boomtown Rats.
The dad-of-three gave the audience his all and was ever the professional as the eighties rockers played their best-loved hits.
Dressed in a a crocodile-skin suit, the 62-year-old rocker sang his heart out and happily egged on the crowd to make more noise.
The gig comes seven weeks after Peaches was found dead in her Kent home on 7th April.
The 25-year-old's body was discovered by her husband Thomas Cohen when he returned from a weekend away.
When the news broke, the dad-of-three was the first family member to make a statement.
"We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us," it read.
"Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?," it continued.
After initial toxicology tests were deemed "inconclusive", an inquest concluded heroine is likely to have contributed to Peaches' death – the same drug that claimed her mum and Bob's wife Paula Yates' life in 2000.
