MANCHESTER UNITED coaches Paul Scholes and Phil Neville ran the rule over Atletico Madrid star Koke at Chelsea last night.

Koke is a long-term target for United, with sacked boss David Moyes having him watched on a number of occasions this season.

But despite Moyes' Old Trafford exit, the Reds Devils remain in interested in the Spanish playmaker.

Scholes and Neville were spotted in the Stamford Bridge crowd as Atletico stunned Chelsea 3-1 to reach the Champions League final.

And the United pair would have been impressed by Koke, who bossed the Blues' midfield with an all-action display.

However, the 22-year-old has repeatedly stated his intention to remain at the Vicente Calderon.

Koke signed a new contract with Atletico in January, which reportedly included a £50million release clause.
