The Germany international has failed to secure a regular first-team spot since his arrival from Cologne in 2012.
And reports have surfaced that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is keen to cash in on the 28-year-old in the summer after not living up to his £10.5m transfer fee.
However, Podolski insists he has no intention of leaving the north London club in the near future.
He said: "As things stand today, I am an Arsenal player (and) it won't change.
"Going to London was the right step. I had the chance to go to a big club and to play in the strongest league in the world.
"I am happy in the city, in the league, in the club. Those two years have been outstanding for me."
Podolski was limited to 27 outings for the Gunners last season due to injury, but still managed to find the back of the net 12 times.
He added: "If my bad injury hadn't stopped me for almost five months, it would have been a better season again.
"Nevertheless, I am satisfied. In the end, I was a regular starter, scored eight goals and had four assists in the league. It's nothing to sneeze at."
