Mark Wright's mate deleted photo of him posing with balloons believed to be full of nitrous oxide, but boasted three years ago about trying it
JAMES 'Arg' Argent is the next TOWIE star to be caught up in a drugs scandal.
The star came under fire after he tweeted a photo of himself with two friends posing with what looks like balloons of laughing gas.
The trio appear to be sucking on the balloons, which suggests they were full of nitrous oxide or 'hippy crack' as why else would you have a balloon in your gob on a night out?
The photo was posted by Arg on his Twitter page last month where it was seen by his 1.4million followers.
But he recently deleted it.
However Entertain9jar has found a tweet that Arg posted in May 2011 about his previous experiences with the drug.
"Contined...Laughing gas, I puked in club toilets and on way home, pots for shot pool game, rumours of someone drink got pissed in!#essexboys"
Meanwhile an eagle-eyed fan snapped him sucking on a balloon in a Cypriot nightclub exactly two years ago today.
The potentially lethal substance nitrous oxide or laughing gas is sold for as little as £1.50 per balloon and users experience feelings of euphoria similar to the effects of heroin or crack cocaine.
It can be sold legally because it is used in preparation of foods such as whippy cream, or in dental surgery and childbirth.
However, it can cause strokes, seizures, heart stress and blackouts and there have been deaths caused by misuse of the drug.
Last summer Jessica Wright found herself in hot water after posing with a laughing gas balloon at a festival.
And The Sun reports TOWIE bosses are on a mission to wipe out drug use among the cast following James Lock's ketamine arrest earlier this year and Mario Falcone's cocaine allegations.
A source told the newspaper: "Arg is one of the only original cast members left and thinks he can get away with anything.
"But bosses want to send a message that nobody is bigger than the show.
"There are himbos and bimbos all over Essex queuing to get on TOWIE so even Arg shouldn't be too confident.
"The older stars are famous but getting jaded and running out of shorelines. Bringing shame on the show won't help their case."
ITV declined to comment.
