Beyoncé's former bandmate taken to South Carolina detention centre
FORMER Destiny's Child star Farrah Franklin has been arrested for disorderly conduct.
Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland's former bandmate was reportedly taken to South Carolina detention centre in the early hours of Sunday morning.
It's not known led to the arrest, but according to TMZ, "alcohol was definitely involved".
According to sources, the 33-year-old was taken to Horry County Detention Center in Conway at 5am.
Hours before the incident, Farrah uploaded a snap onto Instagram of herself looking happy and care free on a beach.
She captioned the photo: "Wasn't prepared for coming to the beach, but hey I stay ready. #BeachBum #MyrtleBeach #Blessed #WaterBaby #MyLife #Instagram."
This morning, she shared a quote, which read: "To be great you have to be willing to be mocked, hated and misunderstood. Stay strong."
And she added: "I'm good just hate the dumb media sometimes, but hey this is the job I signed up for. So I respect it #TurnDownForWhat #TeamFARRAH #GodsChild #Instagram."
The singer was part of Destiny's Child for only five months in 2000 before she was asked to leave.
