ROYAL jester Prince Harry indulged in some horseplay of a more serious nature as he led his fellow Army veterans to victory in a polo match against a Royal Navy team.
Harry and his team-mates ran out 7-4½ winners in the contest for the Rundle Cup at Tidworth Polo Club in Wiltshire. More than 7,000 spectators attended Saturday’s event, sponsored by classic British menswear label Hackett.
Guests were treated to canapes and champagne as they watched Harry and his team lift the trophy.

The Prince, who has served in Afghanistan as a helicopter pilot with the Army Air Corps, also met athletes hoping to compete in the Invictus Games in London, the new international “wounded warrior Olympics” he will be hosting in September.
Last month Harry beat his brother William at a polo match in Gloucestershire where the two played on opposing sides for the Jude Goldin Group Charity Cup. The Duke of Cambridge’s team lost for the second consecutive year against Harry’s side at Tetbury’s Beaufort Polo Club ground.
Harry will celebrate his 30th birthday in September by throwing a St Moritz-themed party for 30 friends. A drawing room in Kensington Palace will be decked out in the style of the Swiss ski resort.
