ARSENAL are set to complete the £3m capture of Colombian goalkeeper David Ospina.

French reports have revealed the deal is as good as done - with both transfer fees and personal terms already in place.

The Nice number one has risen to prominence during the World Cup with a series of terrific displays.

His commanding presence between the sticks helped Colombia to an historic quarter-final, conceded just four goals along the way.

His stellar performances have clearly caught the eye of Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.

And with Lukasz Fabianski's exit, the Frenchman knew a replacement capable of competing with Wojciech Szczesny was a priority.

Ospina will become Arsenal's second signing of the summer - and Wenger may not be done yet.

The 64-year-old's usually proactive involvement in the transfer market could continue with reports of a bid for Real Madrid star Sami Khedira.
