Eric Johnson's wife reportedly said wrong name at the altar in front of 275 guests

 

JESSICA Simpson married her baby daddy Eric Johnson in a private ceremony at the weekend.

And although it was "the happiest moment", her big day wasn't without hiccups.

Eric's beautiful bride – who wore a custom made Carolina Herrera gown – was left blushing after she reportedly made one big wedding fail which 275 of the pair's nearest and dearest witnessed.

The pressure clearly got to the mum-of-two after she fluffed her marital vows by announcing the WRONG name at the altar, according to E! News.

The site claims Jessica messed up her lines but thankfully, she didn't pronounce the name of her ex-husband Nick Lachey – which would've made for one painfully awkward moment – but addressed her husband-to-be as herself.

The former Newlywed star managed to recover from the mishap by laughing it off and carrying on regardless.

And it seems the ex-American footballer has forgiven his wife and the pair are basking in marital bliss.

"It's all about family for us," she beamed to People magazine so it's not surprising to hear her clan played important roles in the nuptials.

Her mum Tina and sister Ashlee were her maids of honour, Eric's father stepped in as best man while Jess' dad officiated the ceremony.

The blonde's hubby was overwhelmed with emotion and his heart "exploded a little bit" when he caught sight of his stunning bride.
